Job Summary:
The Environmental Services Aide performs a variety of cleaning tasks in order to maintain a clean environment for patients, clients and visitors.
Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance):
1. Maintains all floors surfaces.
2. Performs repetitive cleaning operations throughout the work day under specific instructions with little need for individual judgement in working out job problems.
3. Works with frequent contact with water and cleaning solutions.
4. Moves furniture as required.
5. Replaces shower curtains as needed.
6. Collects soiled linen and disposes of same linen in laundry chute.
8. Lifts a minimum of 100 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 250 lbs. and stands a minimum of
length of shift.
