Inpatient Clinical Data Manager

Shift:
full time temporary position, Days, Monday-Friday.

Currently, we have the following excellent temporary opportunities available.
* Minimum of 5 years experience and thorough knowledge of Case Mix Index, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4 and DRG and APC methodologies.
* Experience interpreting billing forms and knowledge of CDM requirements.
* Knowledge of clinical databases and data reporting requirements.
* Experience with auditing for quality improvement.
* Proficient in computer skills.
Associate's or higher.
Certification RHIA or RHIT with CCS.
The Clinical Data Manger/Inpatient is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable documentation, coding and billing regulations to ensure appropriate reimbursement, and stays knowledgeable of all ICD9 and CPT coding changes and guidelines. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating activities of the in-patient audit and coding staff.
