Job Description:
Teach one or more courses offered by the Interdisciplinary Communication Studies program. Positions are one-year, non-tenure track with a high likelihood of multi-year renewal. Successful candidates will be expected to teach Introduction to Communication Studies and be qualified to teach a broad range of upper division courses. The Interdisciplinary Communication Studies program is administered by the Department of Psychology.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in communication studies or relevant discipline appropriate for courses taught. Teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in communication studies or discipline appropriate for courses being taught; evidence of teaching effectiveness.

Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience, subject to available funds.

Special Conditions:

Non-tenure track appointment(s), full-or part-time, on a semester or annual basis depending upon enrollments and funding, with possibility of renewal. Application deadlines: 3/21/08 for Fall Semester 2008; 09/26/08 for Spring Semester 2009.
