Job Description
The purpose of this position is to conduct field and laboratory research studies on biomass management and utilization. The incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of field research projects, collect data, prepare samples for laboratory analyses, assist in laboratory analyses, and prepare data for statistical analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Plant Science or other agriculturally related field, and 1 year experience in the operation of standard production and specialized research plot field equipment, and training or experience that demonstrates ability to operate analytical laboratory equipment.
Salary
Minimum $33,255; commensurate with qualifications
Special Conditions
Position is renewable depending upon satisfactory job performance and continued funding.
Incumbent should possess or be able to obtain a class C (Commercial) driver's license. In addition the individual must be able to obtain a pesticide applicator's license within six months of hire.
