Job Description
Serve as the operations manager for Hilton Coliseum. Directs the production and technical operations for events at Hilton Coliseum and Jack Trice Stadium. Assesses client needs, develops event layouts and options using technical software, anticipates problems and needs, handles special client requests, and implements production. Serves as the primary technical liaison with clients of Hilton Coliseum. Coordinates all aspects of event set-up and production, recommends maintenance and improvement plans, and monitors budget. Provides direct supervision of a large part-time staff for events and event changeover activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. At least three years experience working with technical arena operations, including lighting, sound and rigging systems. Experience working with both sport and non-sport events.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in related field. Experience working with portable athletic floors. Knowledge of NCAA rules relating to event set-up. Experience directing event operations staff.
Salary
Minimum $40,906; commensurate with qualifications.
