Operations Research Analyst (ORA) Support
Job Location: Dayton, OH
Description:
Operations Research Analyst (ORA) Support: Uses operations research methods and mathematical techniques to analyze acquisition logistics problems, develop techniques in applied mathematics, and completes or supervises the accomplishment of analytical studies. Conducts analytical investigations, develops analysis methods and techniques, acts as management consultant, and manages mathematical operations relating to acquisition logistics. Responsible for the technical validity of studies. Advises acquisition logistics personnel of the results and implications of studies for which responsible, particularly in relation to advances in scientific knowledge and techniques in fields applicable to integrated logistics support (ILS) management techniques. Document and communicates orally and in writing the results of work along with recommendations for staff actions and summaries.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
Fifteen (15) years experience performing operations research or maintenance type activities in the military acquisition or support environment is required. At least three (3) years of such experience must be in aeronautical weapon systems acquisition logistics analysis or aeronautical weapon systems support of logistics analysis.
