Quality Engineer
Job Location: Central Iowa
Description:
If you are a Quality Engineer who enjoys the analytical aspects of the job, this position will be of interest. Our client, a leading manufacture in Central Iowa is looking for a Quality Engineer to provide analytical support to various programs. Programs will include: Design of Experiments, Process Control of Product, Gage Calibration and Corrective Actions. QE will work closely with quality technicians, process engineers and staff to implement quality processes. Duties will include evaluation, purchase of new inspection equipment, installation and training. If selected you will compile and write training material plus conduct training on quality control procedures.
The successful candidate will have a BSME, Agricultural Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering degree with 3 to 5 years of experience. Additional consideration will be given to experience in one of the following: OEM of Hydraulics, Motors or Drivetrain Components. The position will include some initial travel through the end of 2007.
Compensation/Benefits:
$60 to $75K plus benefits depending on experience.
