Design Engineer
Job Location: Central Iowa
Description:
Our client, an industry leader located in Central Iowa, is seeking a Design Engineer for their team. This position will provide design of sheet metal cabinets with a solid foundation in structure strength and rigidity. Design position will also include designing mechanisms such as motor driven cams and drive spirals. In this position you will apply problem-solving skills, conduct defect analysis and conduct product validation tests. SolidWorks knowledge is a plus along with some electrical knowledge.
The successful candidate will have a BSME with 3 plus years of experience and solid molding such as SolidWorks or ProE. One must have experience using advanced problem-solving tools and enjoy working in a team-based environment.
Compensation/Benefits:
$60 to $70K plus benefits
