Industrial Engineer
Job Location: Central Illinois
Description:
Perform job duties to establish, audit and maintain proper labor standards and methods as it relates to all products and costs to meet the objectives, needs and goals of company.
Establish, implement, audit and ensure that adequate labor standards, methods documentation and engineering economics exist to produce all current and proposed products.
Process and incorporate new and proposed products into the facility through accurate product costing, justification of tools and equipment and timely manufacture and release of new products.
Assist in manufacturing cost reduction for products or plant through process improvements and/or introducing new techniques into plant activities while maintaining quality standards.
Establish, implement, audit and ensure that all routings, methods, and process sheets are current per product drawing and reflect current mode of casting, machining and assembly procedures.
Assist and collaborate with all production and supporting departments to minimize and/or eliminate process and quality
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5 years experience involved in time study and method processes or related experience in a related industry.
Compensation/Benefits:
$53K to $63K plus benefits.
