Environmental / Maintenance Engineer
Job Location: Central Illinois
Description:
Assist in the administration of capital expenditure projects and support the EPA, OSHA and environmental compliance efforts to meet the needs, goals and objectives.
1. Administer the environmental efforts and activities for the foundry and plant.
2. Lead, assist and/or perform engineering projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
3. Lead, assist and/or perform engineering projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
4. Lead and/or participate in efforts involving engineering, safety and health, and maintenance to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
5. Document, complete and submit all required reporting and permit information relating to EPA and other environmental situations for the Decatur facilities.
6. Design and oversee installation of new equipment and systems for all operations.
7. Assist and work with Engineering, Maintenance and Finance as needed in managing the activities of capital expenditure projects.
8. Assist as needed in the preparation of Capital Expenditure budgets.
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering with 0 to 5 years experience.
- Basic understanding of foundry operations.
- Strong interest in environmental and willingness to learn.
Compensation/Benefits:
$50 to $55K plus benefits.
