None Job Summary/Basic Function Teach ISU aviation students how to fly aircraft. Specific Responsibilities Teach ISU students how to fly aircraft. Minimum Relevant Education: High School diploma or GED Required Field(s) of Study Aviation Preferred Relevant Education: Bachelor`s Degree (4 years) Preferred Education Field(s) of Study: Aviation Required Experience Aviation Minimum Relevant Work Experience: 6-12 Months Preferred Relevant Work Experience: 6-12 Months Preferred Work Field(s) of Experience: Aviation Required Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: Must possess a valid driver`s license Other Other Skills and Abilities: Certified Flight Instructor Rating Minimum Preferred Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: Common Skills and Abilities: Ability to adapt to change Ability to assemble, analyze and present data Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks accurately Demonstration of high ethical standards, integrity, professionalism, politeness, and courteousness Excellent customer service skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, planning, teambuilding and problem solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications Willingness to travel and work odd hours when needed Willingness to work outside in adverse weather conditions Works effectively with a diverse community Attention to Detail Other Skills and Abilities: Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Fly aircraft with students and provide actual flight instruction.
Provide ground instruction to students in training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
