General Description:
General responsibilities to sell multiple deposit and non-deposit accounts to new and existing customers by assessing customer needs and determining which accounts can best satisfy those needs. Products include (but are not limited to): Deposits and refers customers to Investments, Wealth Management, Card Products and Loans. Actively responsible for servicing and maintenance of existing accounts, providing information, and resolving banking problems for clients. When necessary, incumbent will support day-to-day branch operations.
Essential Functions:
Meets or exceeds personal sales goals. Attends all sales and product knowledge training and promotional meetings offered in order to keep current on all issues. Will be required to re-certify as policy directs to participate with sales incentives. Stays current on bank policies and procedures in order to provide quality customer service through operational issues. Retaining and building relationships with current and prospective clients. Incumbent will provide paying and receiving functions when necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 - 8 months teller experience or retail sales experience before training begins. Requires good interpersonal, sales and customer service skills. Needs to be organized and work within a small group. Experience with various office equipment including a personal computer.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Depending on location, office space may be confined. Extended periods of standing or sitting. Some lifting may be required. Extended periods of viewing personal computer. May be asked to work at other locations periodically.
