Descrption

Job Summary: Principal responsibilities are to develop new commercial real estate business, including loan, treasury management and deposit products. Work with other Commercial lenders specifically on real estate related loans when it comes to legal structure, legal compliance issues, financial analysis, lending structure and knowledge needed to originate a real estate loan. Promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST and is focused on delivering a high level of customer service to all. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUSTs Character Qualities.

Essential Functions:

Review all loan and supporting documents related to the contractual lending agreement of INTRUST Banks commercial real estate loan customers.

Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all requirements for proper compliance with deadlines and regulations.

Track customer information and work on special projects as determined by management.

Provide support and understanding of the legal issues related to lending on real estate transactions, property ownership, ownership entities, real estate title policies, environmental issues, environmental compliance, appraisal issues, and appraisal compliance.

Develop understanding of the law and requirements to originate and manage a commercial lending portfolio.

Market and originate loans and business deposit products to businesses.

Administer a portfolio of loans originated maintaining asset quality and conducting appropriate collection efforts.

Refer prospects to Treasury Management and Wealth Management.

Lending authority will be commensurate with lending experience


Requirements

Education and Experience: The position requires a college degree in business, preferably a major in finance, accounting, or economics. Experience of 3-7 years of lending is required. Experience with legal or compliance aspects of Real Estate Commercial Lending preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Skills required are real estate lending legal knowledge, financial analysis, sales, relationship management and involvement in community activities, along with good communication skills, verbal and written. The person in this position should be able to interview the customer and structure non-complex loans with limited supervision. Basic computer skills for spreadsheet preparation, word processing, and power point presentations. Knowledge of business and personal deposit, treasury management, and loan products including SBA requirements are required.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: NMLS UI #

Physical Demands: Sitting or standing for long periods of time.

Working Conditions: Normal working conditions include an office environment with long hours of sitting and using a computer. There may be a limited amount of travel.
