Job Summary: The Teller is responsible for making referrals of all bank products and services and for efficiently processing daily transactions for customers while providing excellent customer service. Promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST and is focused on delivering a high level of customer service to all. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUSTs Character Qualities.

Essential Functions:

Identify needs-based opportunities and make sales referrals primarily to the Bankers and also to other areas of the corporation to fully meet customers financial needs.

Perform basic teller transactions.

Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.

Balance cash drawer on a daily basis.

Scan work for image branch capture.

Other duties as assigned by the banking center manager.

Accountabilities:

Number of referrals per day

% of referrals closed

Balancing percentage and accuracy

Consistent use of good judgment to prevent loss to the Bank

Ability to accurately process transactions within the limitations of standard bank and teller policies and procedures

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent is required or current enrollment in high school.

Required Skills: Strong communication and listening skills, detail oriented, knowledge of basic math, strong interpersonal skills, service oriented and some sales. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products and know how to use the Internet.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: None

Physical Demands: Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; the ability to stoop and bend; must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, as required by job duties. Long periods of time may be spent viewing personal computer.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
