Accounting Supervisor

Description:
To ensure our continued success, we must attract and retain exceptional talent in all areas and levels of our organization. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance & Accounting team headquartered in Wichita, KS.
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of inter-company accounting guidelines as well as development of new improved processes. This role will work globally in reconciliation of inter-company activities and balances. Responsibilities:
• Supervision of a team of four inter-company Accountants
• Coordinate inter-company Accounting Guidelines
• Perform analysis of inter-company processes, provide recommendations, and deploy improvement strategies
• Perform analysis of inter-company activities and account balances. Provide solutions and recommendations to this process.
• Provide internal support by coordinating the Commission Accounting process, reconciliation of inter-company activities and balances, and the preparation and recording of journal entries.
Required Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting with 4-6 years of accounting experience
• Demonstration of leadership ability through previous supervisory experience or project leadership
• General Ledger Accounting experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• MS Office skills (including Excel and Word)
Preferences
• Previous supervisory experience
• Previous SAP experience
• Certified Public Accountant
