Environmental Engineer - Waste
Job Location: Camden, SC

Description
The primary role of this assignment is to site compliance for waste and transportation. Role will provide leadership in non-hazardous waste, RCRA compliance, and Dept. of Transportation issues dealing with truck and rail shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage and improve existing systems for waste and transportation.
* Develop systems to improve site's compliance program for waste and transportation.
* Track emerging issues in RCRA, DOT Hazardous Materials, and SC waste regulations.
* Interact with agencies during audits and inspections.
* Improve site waste footprint by finding new recycling and reuse possibilities for existing waste streams.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
* Five or more years experience in waste management and compliance or 2 or more years experience with an Engineering or Science Bachelors degree.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Engineering or science degree
* Project management and/or production/manufacturing experience
