Chemical Engineer
Job Location: Wilmington, NC

Full Time
Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain 100% compliance with all health and safety expectations
• Prepare daily job plan for production units
• Liaison between Operations and order fulfillment
• Daily support to the production areas
• Provide Operations technical expertise to the PPM plan
• Maintain availability utilization database
• Drive the Improve Plant work process
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Three to five years of production or process engineering experience at a batch or continuous chemical manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work effectively with all personnel regardless of function/level
• Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft based PC software
• Strong economic thinking skills
• Applied problem solving skills in the chemical manufacturing field
• Knowledge of process Safety Management skills including MOC and PSSR
• Demonstrated personal motivation & initiative with a strong desire to learn
PREFER:
• Five to ten years of production engineering experience at a batch or continuous chemical manufacturing facility.
• Experience with PI and DeltaV
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
* B.S. Chemical Engineering
