Global Strategic e-Sourcing Leader
To ensure our continued success, we must attract and retain exceptional talent at all levels of our organization. We are currently seeking an experienced Global Strategic e-Sourcing Leader to join our team.
This functional role will be responsible for leading enterprise e-Sourcing business strategies by directing the development, implementation and maintenance of business processes and applications to enable world class performance. Leader will report to Global Procurement Managing Director and be a member of Global Procurement Staff; in addition the successful candidate will lead Global Procurement Network to drive e-Sourcing competency throughout organization.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of overall strategy for leveraging e-Sourcing tools for Global Procurement organization, including eRFx, Auction, Contract, and Project Management capability.
* Leading regional Procurement networks to understand how best to apply e-Sourcing strategies and provide support for execution of sourcing initiatives consistent with these strategies while capability being developed in organization.
* Maintain external knowledge of world class e-Sourcing capability to understand trends, new applications and/or opportunities to drive value for INVISTA; also maintain network with Georgia Pacific e-Sourcing Leader to leverage key learning’s and optimize value for Koch.
* Responsible for maintaining e-Sourcing Policy, Procedures and Guidelines; work thru COE Team to maintain training program to ensure skills and capabilities are maintained plus new users are on-boarded.
* Identify and implement changes to business process and enhancements to the e-Sourcing application to maintain world class capability based on business value creation.
* Provide direction to the e-Sourcing Content Management resource on routine maintenance of e-Sourcing application, including addition or upgrades to contract and supplier templates, new user setup, and all other tactical activities.
* Work in conjunction with IT s-Sourcing Application Resource to communicate changes to e-Sourcing system to Technical through the change control process; create and communicate e-Sourcing application standards; and support configuration and testing efforts of the e-Sourcing software.
Qualifications:
* 10+years strategic commodity procurement desired
* Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated, team player with business acumen
* Electronic sourcing application experience
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to travel and work at other site locations
* Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Technical/Engineering or other related fields
* Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Experience & Skills Preferred:
* ISM CPM certification
* SAP R/3 applications experience a plus
* 5-10 years of business analytics work a plus
