Manager, Project Senior
Job Location: Houston, TX; Orange, TX; Victoria, TX

Description:
Responsible for management of a large project or multiple projects with the basic responsibility and accountability of meeting INVISTA Project Sponsors Objectives, including cost and schedule. Responsibilities include all phases of project development, planning, teaming and work execution utilizing internal as well as external global resources. Plans, directs and leads the work assignments for the function engineers that are assigned to their specific project or group of projects. Establishes and maintains the team's business focus, aligning project strategies aspects, execution approach and associated risk. Oversees project safety, quality and team maintenance programs while executing work in accordance with INVISTA policies, procedures, systems, and requirements. Maintains active interface with management for progress, commitments and change management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
* BS in engineering
* 3 yrs experience as a project engineer/manager
* 2 yrs experience at a manufacturing site
* Experience with field construction and project start-up assistance
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
* BS in mechanical engineering
* 5 yrs experience as a project engineer / manager
* Experience with chemical or polymer manufacturing
* Professional Engineers license
