Job Location: Camden, South Carolina

WORK SCHEDULE:
* Rotating 12-hour shifts. (36 hours one week, 48 hours the following week)
* Average full-time work schedule of 14 days per month
* Rotating shift schedule requires employee to work at least 50% of weekends.
* Schedule is subject to modification as production needs dictate.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
* Identify and segregate yarn quality grades.
* Perform general and detailed housekeeping.
* Transport production materials from one location to another
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Lifting over 50 pounds required for some positions.
* Standing, stooping, squatting and bending often.
* Some areas have equipment that operates at high temperature and noise levels. Therefore, appropriate protective equipment will be provided and must be properly worn.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
* Must function in a team environment.
* Ability to work with minimal supervisory guidance.
* Ability to think through and resolve problems.
* Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
* Ability to observe and remember procedures
* Ability to locate and apply information from workplace graphics such as charts, graphs, and instrument gauges
* High School diploma or GED
* To be considered for employment in this position you must be eligible to work in the United States
OTHER:
* Previous industrial experience is preferred, but not required.
Experience and Skills Preferred:
* Computer literate (experience with SAP, word, excel a plus)
* Good interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated equipment troubleshooting ability in a manufacturing setting preferred.
* Prior work history in a manufacturing environment
Education Preferred:
* Associate degree or higher
