INVISTA`s Performance Surfaces & Materials business is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Regional Manager. This position will be home based in a major market area, leading a team of 10-12 Fiber Consultant (FC)  team, focused on growing share of the Antron brand.

A successful Regional Manager will lead the INVISTA Commercial Marketing effort by driving strategies to grow market share in each territory..  This position will report directly to the Director of Field Operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% compliance and leady by creating value utilizing the MBM principles
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, coaching and managing new and current employees; Identify key challenges and solve for results; Develop skills of team.
• Support Fiber Consultants on development and implementation of a strategic business plan for their territories. This includes partnering with all members of the value chain (A&D, end users, dealers, and carpet mill reps) to drive the specification and closure for the purchase of carpets of INVISTA fibers.
• Become an effective solution-provider for the team by understanding all facets of the contract floor covering industry within your region.
• Provide market-based analysis, defining new opportunities for new offerings.
• Conduct needs-based sales presentations that support partners and meet customer needs for small and large groups.
• Excellent communication, organizational & presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and re-prioritize
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Support the INVISTA marketing team on implementing strategies and tactics to grow share within the region and support the overall business objectives for the commercial business.
• This managerial role involves approximately 75% travel, both day and overnight, by personal car and air.  In addition to regular travel within the Region, there will be tradeshows, other market events and corporate meetings.  All business related expenses are reimbursed.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• At least 5 years of sales experience
• Travel up to 75%, including some weekends and evenings
• Experience in data or market analysis
• Experience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel sorting data, creating tables and creating graphs, Outlook scheduling, Word document creation/editing and PowerPoint presentation creation/editing)

Preferred skills and Education:

• Field Management experience the ability to achieve results through others and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans with key clients and overall segment strategy in the region.
• Preferred background in/understanding of the contract interiors industry
• Preferred degree in Marketing, Business, Management
