Currently, INVISTA is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the N.A. supply chain team focused on our Carpet Fibers Business. Responsibilities: - Lead the supply chain organization and processes for N.A. produced carpet fibers businesses. This includes leading the S&OP processes, demand planning, import planning, capacity planning, and short-term detailed scheduling.
- Lead an effective S&OP process that optimizes profitability
- Lead improvement in forecast accuracy through collaborative processes with the sales teams and customers.
- Establish on ongoing basis optimum inventory targets
- Streamline and optimize processes where possible
- Lead and mentor the supply chain organization on supply chain best practices and economic thinking.
- Build robust processes and metrics to drive improvement.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with government regulations and aligned with standards.
- Drive a culture based on MBM principles.
Required Education & Experience: - Bachelors degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years experience working in the supply chain function for a global or multiregional business.
- At least 5 years experience in a leadership role with a supply chain team.
- Prior experience in a business that utilizes an ERP system such as SAP including demand planning, inventory management and S&OP modules.
- Prior experience utilizing and/or implementing IT tools accompanied by process changes.
Desired Experience - Industrial Engineering degree and/or MBA
- SAP experience
