INVISTAs Performance Surfaces & Materials (PS&M) business is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Senior Brand Manager - STAINMASTER. This position will be based in our Kennesaw, GA office. We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to drive overall long-term STAINMASTER brand strategy & vision, evolving brand equity and identifying new opportunities to maximize long term business performance. The role will provide leadership in developing innovation and new products. This position will work closely with the Brand & Business Operations, R&D, Insights, Sales, Mills and Finance to deliver against key long-term priorities that align to brand vision. Also, responsible for providing thought leadership and development of market insights to ensure the strategies and plans are highly resonant with consumers. The selected candidate will be critical in advancing our Market-Based Management (MBM) culture. Responsibilities: - Develop and define the portfolio vision, the brand strategy, the growth drivers and the corresponding prioritized investment strategy for the STAINMASTER brand.
- Lead brand equity framework and brand architecture development and disseminate to organization.
- Implement brand-building programs tailored to target consumers.
- Identify relevant market and consumer insights on the category and turn those insights into opportunities to satisfy the need of consumers.
- Identify and prioritize marketplace opportunities that deliver transformational profit and value for company.
- Identify, quantify and prioritize growth opportunities for the brand in order to deliver financial objectives for sustainable system growth.
- Develop marketing programs which build and expand the reach and relevance on the brand.
- Foster consumer interactions that constantly reinforce the business objectives.
- Work with project leadership, sales, Finance and R&D to evaluate the long term portfolio strategy and opportunities.
- Actively engage in assisting long term vision and budget planning.
- Uncover deep consumer and business insights through market research and business analysis.
- Identify relevant consumer needs and opportunities for innovation.
- Help foster a strong culture built on compliance and value creation, while helping to develop the surfaces organization capabilities critical to realizing the business vision.
- Thoroughly understand the brand and implement brand-building programs tailored to target consumers.
- Identify relevant market and consumer insights in the category and turns those insights into opportunities to satisfy the need of consumer groups.
- Develop marketing programs which is able to build and expand the reach and relevance on the brand.
- Lead the advertising agency, promotion agency and counterparts from concept development to execution and to ensure total integration of marketing plans.
- Identify the growth opportunities based on market environment and consumer insights.
- Monitor competitors activities and defend against competitive initiatives.
- Explore in depth the consumers perception towards the brand personality and brand imagery for the Brand and the competitors.
- Validate product concept and brand positioning.
- Cascade the consumer learning to the advertising agency, customers and other partners.
- Push for new ideas and innovations to develop new products.
- Lead advertising and media agency to think strategically and focus on developing innovative and effective integrated marketing strategies that link to the brand proposition and fully capitalizes on the knowledge of consumer insights.
- Use strong problem solving capability utilizing economic analysis.
- Use analytical rigor that complements a constant state of business curiosity
Required Skills & Experience: - At least 4 years of experience in brand management
- Experience creating marketing strategy for new product launches and brand management
Education Required: - Bachelor`s degree or higher in Marketing or a business related field
