INVISTAs Performance Surfaces & Materials Business (PS&M) is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Manager - Business Operations.  This position will be a part of the INVISTA Surfaces organization, based in Kennesaw, Georgia and will be responsible for leading the execution and implementation of processes that support our customer programs for our Residential Segment.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 100% compliance and lead by creating value and utilizing the companys MBM principles.
  • Use strong critical thinking skills and work with a sense of urgency and creativity to deliver results.
  • Use economic thinking to identify opportunities, evaluate options and recommendations, and drive for decisions.
  • Develop, document, and drive processes for retail operations; ensure procedures maintain a high level of information quality and support business needs as they change.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills are a must; position will manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, coaching and managing new and current employees; identify key challenges and solve for results; develop the skills of each individual and the team.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; candidate will work collaboratively across various work teams.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses that assist in making informed business decisions.
  • Collaborate with IT on larger projects related to database enhancements by aligning the needs of the business with the capabilities delivered by information technology.
  • Define dashboards and analysis needed to guide, manage and measure the effectiveness of programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is essential, with a high degree of flexibility and   anticipating change.
  • Responsible for using excel or other tools to model business scenarios

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in a Business related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing direct reports, with a proven ability to coach/mentor.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • At least 5 years of process/policy development & implementation and ability to drive improvement & productivity.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools i.e. Salesforce.COM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (spreadsheet creation/ editing, pivot tables, formula creation, etc.), PowerPoint (Presentation creation/editing), and Word (creating and modifying documents and tables)

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

 

  • Prior experience with Salesforce.com
