We are currently seeking an Account Manager to manage the relationship with Intermediates customers for sales of the following products: Adi-pure Adipic Acid, DYTEK Hexamethylenediamine and DYTEK Adiponitrile in the U.S. This opportunity will be located in either Wichita, Kansas or Wilmington, Delaware.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement specific account strategies that are aligned with the portfolio strategy. Create sales proposals, gain alignment via the Decision Making Framework and challenge processes; Present, negotiate and close with customers. Understand the customers business in terms of application, value chains, key drivers, key competitors, and supply alternatives. Contribute customer business information to the strategy development process. Understand the competitive situation for INVISTA products at each account. Work directly with business support functions, such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Credit, EH&S, and Technical Service to promptly resolve customer issues. Build and maintain relationships between INVISTA and customers. Identify growth opportunities for INVISTA. Complete Industry research and analysis, present data to make best business decisions. Experience, Education and Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing or a related discipline. Available to travel up to 50% of the time. MS Office experience including: Excel presenting data, modeling, creating charts and graphs, Word drafting letters and creating tables and Power Point creating and editing presentations. Experience and Skills Preferred: Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Experience in sales and/or marketing in the chemical industry. 3+ years of experience in nylon or other nylon related industries. Advanced financial modeling experience. Trading and/or negotiation experience. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future. We are an equal opportunity employer.
