INVISTA is currently interviewing candidates with exceptional attention to detail and strong, proven, analytical and critical thinking skills for our Wichita, KS based Transportation Manager - Global ISO Containers in our Global Logistics organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Understanding business requirements, establishing and maintaining the optimal fleet and NVOCC capabilities for internal customers.
  
• Managing the commercial relationships with ISO tank leasing companies, Depots, NVOCCs, Ocean Carriers as it pertains to ISO Tank movements and Depots.
  
• Negotiation of rates to assure optimal service and capability with competitive rates to cover transportation and storage requirements on a global basis.
  
• Developing and maintaining a Point of View on the market and executing strategies to manage risk and optionality in the ISO Tank Container business.
  
• ISO Tank fleet management including utilization and positioning, fleet sizing, maintenance and repair, depot selection and compliance.
  

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelors degree or above in Business, Engineering, Economics, Logistics, Transportation or related field from an accredited College / University.
  
• Experience with MS Office including emphasis in Excel.
  
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and globally (approximately 25%)
  

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Knowledge and ability to gather market information, identify key drivers and develop a point of view
  
• 2+ years of experience in a corporate logistics or related position
  
• Negotiation experience
  
• Operations, technical and or scheduling experience with ISO tank containers
  
• International trade or freight forwarding experience
  
• Product Scheduling and/or Transportation Scheduling experience
