Responsibilities
Summary
The Client Services Technician will maintain a base level of knowledge about personal computers and associated software, while continuing to develop their competencies in these areas. Responsibilities include:
Resolve problem records as assigned.
Build, configure, and install workstations to meet end user needs (lifting of equipment up to 50lbs required).
Interface daily with end users.
Work on moderately complex technical assignments.
Be familiar with Windows XP operating system and command line, Microsoft Office application software, communications software such as 3270 emulation and e-mail clients, DB2 database platform, and TCP/IP networking protocol in an ethernet environment.
Knowledge of a programming language such as C#, Delphi, VBScript, or Java is a plus.
Assist with development of Intern personnel’ skills.
Other responsibilities assigned as required.
Qualifications
A two year degree in a computing technology discipline and/or two (2) years of work experience in the technology industry.
