Experience:
Required: MS or equivalent in a technical discipline such as physics, engineering or applied mathematics (operations research) with 10-15 years experience - predominantly in industry. Significant M&S experience. Experience in leading small study teams focused on technical and operational analysis of C2 military systems and processes. Significant experience in interacting with senior military personnel (Flag level) and DoD managers (SES and GS 15). Ability to create a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills. Desired: Experience leading and participating in study efforts focused on technical and operational analysis of C2 military systems and processes. Previous military experience could be useful.
Job Description:
To support and possibly lead C4ISR analyses in support of conflict and non-conflict operations to include concept and requirements definition, operational and system architecture analysis, warfare modeling and simulation, effectiveness analysis, and developing and conducting Warfare Analysis Laboratory exercises. Identify and gain expertise with emerging C2 models/computer simulations; develop or enhance existing C2 models, databases, and/or algorithms in order to tailor them for a specific C2 problem involving the deployment and use of US military forces and systems. Lead study teams which perform military operations/systems analysis utilizing resident or acquired models. Develop analysis plans, identify key effectiveness measures, identify data requirements, develop and maintain databases, execute computer simulations, tabulate and interpret results, develop conclusions and identify key factors. Participate in business development and marketing by interacting with military officers, DoD civilians, informally and within the context of formal marketing activities
