Experience: Required: BS/MS in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering. Computer programming skills using mathematical applications (i.e., Matlab, Statistica). Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, motivation, flexibility and interest in working in a team environment. Willingness to work on dynamic projects and ability to handle and prioritize a number of concurrent taskings. Must be eligible for DOD clearance requiring background investigation and/or polygraph examination. Desired: Prior experience performing data analysis and developing mathematical solutions to real-world problems. Experience using Matlab to solve problems.
Job Description: Job Description: Program, the Anti-Submarine WarfareAssessment Program and projects associated with the Transportation Security Administration within the National Security Technology Department. Duties: Perform data analysis and mathematical modeling to evaluate system performance associated with U.S. Navy port security systems. Develop and calculate system effectiveness and performance measures. Perform mathematical analysis of Navy operations and sensor systems performance in support of Anti-Submarine Warfare assessments. Perform system testing and evaluation of sensor systems employed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Collect and analyze data from field operations, and provide operational insights to sponsor and manufacturer to improve system performance.
