Job Details:
HS diploma or GED required
Certification as Journeyman HVAC Mechanic required.
Valid Maryland Class C driver's license is required
Job Duties:
Must have analytical/troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve problems involving HVAC principles. Will install, maintain, and repair all types of heating, cooling, air distribution and refrigeration equipment. Familiarity with VAV boxes, pneumatic and digital controllers and building automation systems. Will perform preventative maintenance on all types of equipment including split systems, air handlers, thermostats, condensers, fans, and evaporators. competence in HVAC test equipment, gauges, meters, and measuring instruments is needed. Will use standard HVAC hand tools, and conduct leak detection and repairs. Will train other employees as assigned.
