- HS diploma or GED required
- Registration as RHIT preferred
- 1-2 years previous experience is required
- Up to 1 yr of basic tech training in office automation

Job Duties:
Assigning medical record numbers; Editing patient demographics; Researching patient identity issues; Resolving patient record discrepancies; Perform medical record number merges and links; Investigate overlays; Compare clinical documentation and signatures for validity; Maintain accurate records detailing investigative efforts. access web portals to obtain warehouse records; Access multiple clinical systems to obtain information relative to decision making. Pull paper charts when needed and access electronic records. Perform links between multiple systems to link medical record numbers across the enterprise. Covering system downtime and the assignment of downtime Medical record numbers. Access Epic, Meditech, Softmed, and Outlook. Use other software applications to investigate issues.
