This job reports to the Project Manager

Relocation is negotiable and travel is required occasionally.

This is a Full-Time position, working 1st Shift.

Job Summary:
Experienced Pharmaceutical Engineer II

We are looking for experienced pharmaceutical engineers to join our top-notch team and provide support to clients across the country.

The Pharmaceutical Engineer will be responsible for contributing as needed in any of the three JMHC expertise areas: process design, control systems, and validation. The position will be based out of our Hellertown, PA office.

We are seeking candidates with experience in these areas:
Engineering:
• Consult with clients regarding technical approaches to projects
• Develop and review P&IDs and Functional and Detailed Design Specifications
• Familiarity with water systems, CIP, SIP, and process equipment
• Familiarity with engineering project management

Controls:

• Design, test and start-up PLC programs, SCADA interfaces, and integrated systems
• Experience with DCS and Delta V

Validation:
• Develop Installation, Operational and Performance Qualification Validation protocols
• Execute approved protocols and coordinate with other functional departments
• Analyze the Qualification data with respect to pre-defined acceptance criteria
• Generate and resolve protocol discrepancies or deviations, as appropriate
• Develop final protocol reports
• Develop and maintain internal quality systems and procedures


Job Skills/Requirements
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum 2-4 years industry experience related to GMP drug manufacture, validation, programming, or chemical process design
BS degree or higher in chemical or related engineering, scientific discipline, or significant related experience
Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD or equivalent
Willingness to travel
