Job Title:
Network Engineer
Position Type :
Year round, full time
Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000 depending on experience
Candidates will be working at a resort property so rotating weekends and holidays is a requirement.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The ideal candidate for the position of Network Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring,
maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components.
Network Engineer performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user satisfaction. A Network Engineer also provides direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
?Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment`s and related services
?Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
?Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
?Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations
?Maintain and support company`s LAN/WAN environment
?Hands on experience with Cisco, HP and MikroTik systems
?Daily maintenance and problem resolution, routing configurations, wireless access points. fiber optic connectivity ?Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
The ideal candidate possess skills in the following areas:
?Comprehensive understanding of LAN/WAN routing protocols in a complex multi-subnet environment.
?Prior experience with the following hardware: MikroTik, Cisco, and HP routers, access points and network
switches.
?Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP and related networking protocols.
General Work requirements:
?This position sometimes requires working evenings and weekends, in some case, without advanced notice.
?Must be available to work alternating weekends and holidays.

Hours:
Normal business hours are 9AM ? 6PM
This is a salaried position with some flexibility in hours once on-call and support coverage schedules are established with the team. Employees are expected to deliver a full 8-10 hours per day, as needed. Applicant must be willing to work additional or non-standard hours to support delivery of time-critical project deadlines or emergency`s.
