CO/Correctional Trades Instructor (Carpentry and Agriculture) Vocational Trades Instructor (Wood Harvesting) Charleston Correctional Facility seeks motivated, career minded, team players to instruct and teach correctional programs to adult inmates. Join an agency committed to offering career and leadership opportunities, professional training and staff development. CTI - Instruct adult inmate crews for on and off-grounds work projects. Three years exp. in general carpentry plus additional skills in agriculture (apple orchard), gardening, and grounds work. High School Diploma (GED) and Maine Driver`s License VTI - Teach vocational trades skills in wood harvesting to adult inmate work crews. Bachelor`s Degree in Vocational Education or 2 yr certificate from technical institution and 3 yrs employment in the trade, or High School Diploma and 6 yrs employment in the trade.
