Dakota Gasification Company, the only commercial-scale coal gasification plant in the United States that produces synthetic natural gas and other byproducts, has challenging and rewarding career opportunities in its modern and expanding process plant. PROCESS OPERATIONS FIELD TECHNICIAN I, II, III, IV, V (Multiple positions) take readings, monitor field mounted controls, and check temperatures, pressures, flows and levels. Requires completion of an AAS degree in Power Plant or Process Plant Technology, or two years of previous directly related full-time operating experience in a process plant or petrochemical facility. Additional directly related operating experience is preferred but not required. A valid driver`s license is required. Application deadline is October 4, 2013. Maintenance / Electrical & Instrumentation (Plant Control Systems) Field Technician I, II, III SCADA systems and monitoring system. It provides support for assigned microcomputer applications designed to aid plant operations and engineering in recordkeeping and analysis of plant equipment, and requires a working knowledge of network hardware, wireless technologies and computers at a level obtained through an Associate`s degree in Computer Science. A minimum of one to five years related experience preferred but not required. Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA or equivalent, plus certification in firewall management from a major firewall vendor is desired. Experience in configuration and programming control systems such as Foxboro I/A, Modicon PLCs, Network switches and firewalls is preferred and must be proficient with the hardware for these systems, including the I/O modules, processors, and communication modules.
