Waldo County General Hospital Maine Health Caring For Our Neighbors Since 1901 Director of Nursing Waldo County General Hospital is a 25-bed acute care hospital located in beautiful coastal Maine in Belfast and is currently seeking a Director of Nursing. Individual selected will provide leadership and direction of inpatient and outpatient nursing services, surgical services and central sterile supply. In collaboration with the Administrative Team, the Director of Nursing plans for the Hospital`s strategic direction and continuous delivery of safe, quality patient care services, the maintenance of sound fiscal management practices, the building of a cohesive team of coworkers and the development of strong community relationships. Requirements include: Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Maine. BSN required; MSN preferred with advanced certification in nursing administration preferred. Additional studies in Health Care Administration helpful. Five years experience in acute care and/or management with strong organizational and financial management skills.
