LCI currently has a career opening for a Maintenance Manager Aluminum Extrusion at one of our Elkhart, IN facilities.
Provide hands on assistance as required to maintain departmental goals.
Lead the planned and predictive maintenance programs and activities.
Organize and plan project installations to minimize the impact on production operations including weekend work.
Ensure proper communications throughout the organization concerning equipment and maintenance issues.
Ensure that acceptable standards are met in the safety, technical skills, materials, and workmanship of the maintenance crew.
Develop and maintain maintenance procedures documentation to improve the accuracy and repeatability of maintenance work assignments. Identify and resolve to root cause, re-occurring causes of equipment problems.
Maintain equipment utilization at levels determined by Plant manager.
Review the daily log sheet completed by the maintenance technicians and creates a summary shift report.
Approve hours in the time system for technicians on team
Support systems by participating in Kaizens, TPM, and other continuous improvement opportunities.
Identify and resolve to root cause the major contributors to maintenance downtime. Determine and delegate work responsibilities within the department and supply technical support.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of maintenance in aluminum extrusion manufacturing with at least 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
Should have working knowledge of PLCs, SLCs, hydraulic presses, and experience in electrical trouble-shooting.
