Bayer Healthcare is currently seeking candidates for a full time Production Mechanic-Operator and Electrician for its medical device manufacturing facility in Mishawaka, IN. Production Mechanic-Operator Job Responsibilities: Observe machine operation, control screens and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) to detect potential manufacturing problems. Troubleshoot manufacturing systems and components and make necessary adjustments. Ability to use all types of hand tools. Read and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams when making repairs. Performs regular preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Documents repair processes and machine adjustments in machine log books. Follow all applicable procedures to reflect current operations and adhere to OSHA, FDA, GMP and ISO guidelines. Job Requirements: High School diploma or GED Sound technical judgment and cooperative teamwork is required Applicants must be able to work any shift. Electrician Job Responsibilities: Fabricate, maintain, install, repair, calibrate, assemble and inspect electrical installations and equipment. Work with electrical materials necessary to install electrical work. Use hand tools, electrical test instruments and braze and solder wiring and small parts associated with electrical work. Maintain, repair, trouble shoot and program industrial programmable controller. Replaces replay control circuits. Replace input and output modules for programmable controller. Assist in training apprentices Job Requirements: High School diploma or GED and Journeyman Electrician and/or 8 years of work related experience Sound technical judgment and cooperative teamwork is required Applicants must be able to work any shift.
