Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Chemical Engineer II to join our client in West Greenwich, RI. Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for providing manufacturing support at Client`s and/or contracted manufacturing sites including process performance monitoring.
- Systems analysis, process optimization; implementation of process improvements and process troubleshooting using data analytical techniques (including multivariate data analysis, MVDA).
- Under general supervision, will provide support for processes and/or systems regarding troubleshooting and operations in upstream and downstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing process.
- Support data gathering, mining, analysis and reporting needs for technology transfers.
- Work may also involve supporting other engineers and scientists in the pilot laboratory operations and projects.
- Support efforts to resolve complex problems while meeting quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
- Perform individually and/or in teams. Job Qualifications: - Minimum one to three (1 - 3) years of industry/applied research experience in cGMP. biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and/or pilot scale experience in development environment.
- Relevant advanced studies and research experience in multivariate statistical process monitoring, process control, and process modelling is also acceptable.
- Experience with database queries, statistical analysis software (JMP, Simca P+, etc), and process modelling software (Matlab,SuperPro, etc) is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity and experience with production data systems, process analytics and technology is preferred.
- Basic Qualifications Bachelor`s degree required in Biochemical, Chemical, Systems Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Statistics.
