Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert to join our client in Sterling, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:

- Cyber Security SMES perform a variety of complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems.
- SME tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve enterprise-wide security issues, system problems, or technology problems as they relate to Cyber Security requirements.
- The SME analyzes information security requirements and applies analytical and systematic approaches to engineering and management problems.
- The SME directs and assists system engineers in the application of Cyber Security principles to the solution of secure systems design problems.
- SMEs demonstrate a broad knowledge of the technical discipline and apply extensive expertise as a generalist.
- The Cyber Security SME applies or develops advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts in related technical disciplines or in a specialty.
- Security Engineers will have or be able to obtain a security clearance at the level of Secret or higher and/or perform in an environment involving special security requirements, as task orders may dictate.

Job Qualifications:

- Problem solving skills and the desire to learn.
- Strong technical ability with effective task management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Understanding how to translate contract requirements and ensure they are met.
- Writing ability to create necessary documentation and reports.
- Solid technical foundation and ability to understand and easily master new technical concepts.
- Five to ten (5 - 10) years of minimum experience.
- Experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework and the related Authorization processes.
- Experience with secure systems architecture.
- Experience with network security operations.
- Specific skills in boundary protection to include: FW management; VPN management; cert/identity management and deployment; reporting; email gateway; web usage monitoring.

Preferred Job Skills/Certifications/Knowledge:

- The following software experience: SecureInfo RMS, Xacta IA Manager, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) applications including Agiliance and RSA Archer; vulnerability scanners; and other packages that support Security Authorization processes.
- The following experience: Cyber Security NIST SP 800-37, SP 800-53, SP 800-39, SP 800-173, SP 800-47, SP 800-42.
- CISSP and/or other related security certifications.
- College degree in computer science or technical discipline.
