Web Coordinator
Job Location: Wichita, KS
Shift:
Full-time; Exempt
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Internet; outstanding graphic design skills for the web; excellent judgment in copywriting and editing; understand both the design and animation sides of HTML Flash; be able to implement marketing strategies; understand, differentiate, and communicate our radio brands; strong communication skills and follow up ability; have a strong work ethic; high ethical standards; strong organization and time management skills; strong detail orientation and creative ability; a good understanding of sales and maximizing revenue opportunities; ability to interact with all personalities in a positive, upbeat manner.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience maintaining website content required, including online stream and gateway advertising, graphic design, HTML Flash animation, contesting, and email marketing; minimum 2 years experience with Photoshop/ImageReady; proficiency in Dreamweaver and audio/video for web is highly preferred; experience with Illustrator and AfterEffects is preferred; strong working knowledge of the radio industry is preferred; ability to work varied schedule
Duties:
Serve as the web content point person for our 6 station websites; help design graphics and HTML Flash animations for both product and sales projects (i.e., banner ads and promotions); write, edit and add content and video to websites; add text, images, and audio content to websites; check websites for quality; work closely with several departments, including programming, marketing, and sales departments on web content; initiate new ways for us to connect with our audience online; troubleshoot issues with hosting, streaming, content management systems, and our staff’s use of web systems; administer, support and train staff on content management systems; support email marketing and contesting efforts; must be able to understand and execute specific targeting with KFDI, KFTI-AM, KICT, KFXJ, KYQQ and KFTI-FM; assist with promotional activities and other duties as assigned by the manager.
