Job Description:
Ka-Comm, Inc., a leader in critical communications since 1960, has an immediate opening in the Manhattan office. Ka-Comm designs, sells, installs, and maintains communication systems for public safety agencies around the State of Kansas. These systems range from conventional voting to trunk systems. In addition to Manhattan, Ka-Comm operates facilities in Salina, Emporia, and Olathe.
Electronics Technician
Vocational/technical degree required, experience in RF preferred. Must be able to work independently and on a team. Major responsibilities include field and in-house troubleshooting and repair on broad spectrum of communications equipment including backbone systems, 911PSAP centers, mobile data systems, mobile and portable radios, and in-car video systems. Other duties include the installation and maintenance of equipment.
