Due to growth in capital projects, our Rosemount, MN refinery has an opportunity for a Construction Manager, overseeing heavy industrial equipment. As Construction Manager, your main responsibility will be to manage the field execution of multiple capital projects from conception to completion throughout the refinery. Primary to the role will be front end loading, preparing estimates, controlling costs and maintaining schedules.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with managerial and leadership skills. Projects with execution associated with turnarounds or shutdowns might require extended work hours or shift schedule changes to satisfy project deliverables.
The successful candidate will have experience managing capital projects. You will have a proven track record of successful completion and execution of projects and strong knowledge of construction and industry standards, processes and procedures. Ideal candidate will have solid project management skills and the ability to oversee the work of others; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong thinking and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years construction management experience in heavy industrial environment.
