Cross-site Outage Coordinator - 012412
Description
Our Global Turnaround Team has an opportunity for a Cross-Site Outage Coordinator that will be based in our Rosemount, MN refinery. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of field activity for several smaller petrochemical sites for routine outage and turnaround activity.
- Management of construction planning and field execution
- Development and implementation of project safety and environmental plans
- Development of construction execution plans
- Oversight of work execution in the field
- Implementation of the necessary systems to achieve desired expectations
Required Skills and Experience
- Five years of previous experience with managing project execution in an operating facility, OR
- Five years of previous experience managing field execution during turnaround or major outages
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with personnel in all levels of the organization
- Must embrace the challenge process and have effective conflict resolution skills
- Must have demonstrated project management skills and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work as a team leader across multiple sites
- Proficient understanding of basic planning tools and construction schedules, including manpower forecasting and field validation
- Contractor management experience
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years of broader turnaround and outage experience, including:
- Experience with Premavera scheduling software and associated schedules, including providing field input, effective progressing, and productivity analysis
- Overall Turnaround/outage management, including scope development, planning
- Knowledge/experience with safe work and environmental practices
- Construction Management Degree or Bachelor of Science
