Koch Membrane Systems (KMS) was founded in the early 1960`s by chemical engineering professors from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to commercialize technology developed in their laboratories. KMS is headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts, a suburb north of Boston. We employ approximately 500 people worldwide. We are looking for an Quality Engineer that is eager to learn our business. The right person needs to like challenges and learning new things. This exciting position will provide support to our growing hollow fiber product line. The right candidates will:

• Use their expertise to help plan, improve and control the quality and reliability of KMS products/processes.
• Support product introduction by leading quality planning activities within and throughout the product design and development process.
• Use appropriate levels of quality planning when design changes are introduced to ensure KMS processes are capable of producing product that meets customer requirements.
• Utilize best practice methodologies to lead and participate in product and process improvement projects focused on identifying and eliminating the causes of variation and improving financial performance.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Skilled at effectively interacting with people at various levels across all functions

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (background required, certified preferred)
• Minimum 5 years in Quality Engineering role
• Experience with ISO 9001 - 2008 QMS quality requirements
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Solid working knowledge and application of statistics
• Proficiency with Minitab and all MS Office applicationsBachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience desired.
• Experience with cGMP.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
