Flint Hills Resources is looking for 5 Assistant Plant Managers to join our team at our Iowa Falls, IA, Shell Rock, IA, Fairbank, IA, Menlo, IA, and Fairmont, NE Ethanol plants.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Consistently practice & promote Market Based Management. Articulate and teach others through example
- Build employee commitment and ownership, while holding employees accountable
- Drive change through challenging the status quo and focusing on continual improvement
- Manage and lead Operations learning initiatives related to functional, cultural, and leadership development
- Lead the continuous improvement effort by driving the action planning process.
- Ensure issues are identified and tasks developed with ownership and due dates to ensure accountability at the appropriate level
- Understand and teach key performance indicators that are essential to the business
- Work with Site Leadership Team to identify project needs through Operations Excellence risk/gap analysis. Prioritize based on value creation
- Lead analysis of operations and performance gaps to quantify opportunities or value proposition. Help facilitate root cause analysis efforts

Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management OR 10+ years of manufacturing management experience.
