INVISTAs Performance Surfaces & Materials Business is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Account Manager. The primary location for this position is Kennesaw, GA, but other locations may be considered for the right candidate. This position is primarily responsible for account management, sales growth and market development for Antron carpet fiber in INVISTAs Commercial Interiors business for North America. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining strategic account plans, promoting the benefits of INVISTA nylon with selected carpet mills, and executing growth initiatives at each account. Responsibilities: - Provide direct account management and resource coordination for commercial carpet mills
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve profitability of accounts
- Proactively assess our offering vs. needs/values of direct and indirect customers and offer suggestions/alternatives/solutions to grow market share and profitability
- Lead cross functional product development teams to address particular opportunities at customers
- Manage relationships and interfaces on suitability, service and quality between INVISTA and customers
- Must be a self-starter, persistent, energetic and have genuine concern for customers
- Work with sense of urgency, curiosity, and creativity to identify opportunity and deliver results
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent public presentation skills
- Ability to build productive relationships quickly and sustain through business cycles
Skills Required: - At least 2 years of fiber manufacturing experience or successful account management interacting with large, complex customers.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial and data analysis with interpretation capability & forecasting.
- Experience in MS Office Software (Excel sorting data, creating tables and creating graphs, Outlook scheduling, Word document creation/editing and PowerPoint presentation creation/editing)?
- Ability to travel 30-50%, including overnight travel
