Marysville, MI chemical plant is hiring an Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to work in our Technical group. As an Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer, you will drive optimization in instrumentation performance, upgrading instrumentation throughout the facility. You will hold responsibility for instrument and electrical-based capital and expense projects.
You will be responsible for guiding maintenance activities and assisting in troubleshooting in the area of electrical equipment and instrumentation, including flow meters, level, pressure, weigh scales, and metering equipment.
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of instrumentation experience in an industrial environment.
This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship
Preferred:
- Experience with DCS management and/or PSM
Other Considerations:
- Must be able to work in various types of weather conditions
- Must be able to climb ladders (+100 ft), stairways, vessels, towers, and pipe racks, many involving considerable heights
- Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.
- Respirator usage will be required
