Description
Koch Exploration Company, LLC is looking for a Plant Operator to provide operational services in the White River Dome Gas Plant in Meeker, CO. This position presents a challenging opportunity to work with a performance-oriented company that recognizes and rewards superior performance and results. The successful candidate will work closely with local and regional supervision to improve the efficiency of the plant with a constant focus on EH&S rules and regulations. These responsibilities will include:
Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the gas plant
Minimizing down time by quickly identifying and correcting operational problems
Optimizing operating costs
Ensuring all activities are performed in a safe manner fully compliant with regulatory permits and programs
Assimilating daily production and measurement reports
Scheduling NGL sales
Other operational services as needed
Be available for on-call responsibilities requiring occasional call-outs at night
Requirements
Experience in gas plant operations
Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel
Capable of using the computerized automation system
Enthusiastic execution of EH&S rules and regulations
Must be able to work outdoors year round in all types of weather
Requires driving on a dirt road in all types of weather both day and night
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred
2 years of experience in gas plant operations with demonstrated ability to safely operate a PSM facility
