Description
Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska that produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC, operates a production facility in Brandon, Manitoba, that produces anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, UAN and urea. In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns storage and terminal assets in northwest Europe with trading offices in Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.
Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Manager (HR) to join the team at our Beatrice, NE facility. As a HR manager you will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain partnership with the Beatrice, NE leadership team to provide leadership and integrate strategic HR practices
- Drive application of the Koch Fertilizer talent management process
- Implement and monitor HR best practices, polices and standards
- Oversee performance management processes including compensation programs
- Ensure compliance with HR standards and all regulations regarding HR and employment law
- Work with leaders to continue to advance our MBM culture through the use of appropriate mental models, processes and tools
- Develop and oversee HR related training and development programs
- Support ongoing staffing efforts including College Recruiting and creative, innovative processes for attracting and retaining talent
- Assist in the development of leadership capabilities and assist local leadership to maintain a direct working relationship with employees
Requirements:
- 5+ years HR Management/Generalist experience
- Experience in various areas of HR including recruiting, employee relations and providing counsel to management
- Experience in resolving complex employee relation issues, conducting investigations and implementing HR processes and programs
- Applied knowledge with Federal Labor Law
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective business partner relationships and develop/deliver business driven strategies
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Preferred:
- Labor relations experience
- Demonstrated experience and innovation for attracting and retaining talent
